This is my prayer on my first Mother's Day: Loving God, thank You for the sacred responsibility of being Kit's mother. May I be unconditionally loving, patient, and generous. Show me how to encourage her and help her fully realize her self-worth and strengths. May I challenge her to learn and grow always. In faith, I hold a vision of her excelling in life, and I take joy in seeing her achieve every success. I release her to Your care, for she is really Your child. Thank You for the unique person that she is, and bless her always. Amen.
